Test Picked
Independent comparisons / Affiliate-supported / Never pay-to-rank
What This Site Is
Test Picked publishes comparison guides for software and gear: the option we'd pick for a given job, the specific tradeoffs, and who each alternative actually suits. The goal is a short list you can act on — not a forty-item roundup that never commits.
How We Pick
Every guide starts from a real buying question. We research the field, test what we have on hand, and write the comparison with the tradeoffs named. Where we don't have hands-on time with a product, the guide says so instead of pretending. Rankings are never sold: affiliate commissions help pay for the site, but they don't move a pick.
Who Runs It
Adam Ryan — a registered nurse turned healthcare-IT engineer and the founder of OneWeek Labs in Somerset, MA. The gear picks come out of equipment that's actually running here:
3D Printer
Bambu Lab P1S with AMS
Homelab
Mini PCs running Proxmox, ASUS Ascent GX10 for AI workloads
Software
The hosting, email, and productivity stack this site and OneWeek Labs' client work actually run on
